I've had GIMP corrupt a couple of my own files before, in fact, if I hadn't uploaded one of them to the NG dump beforehand, I would've lost it forever. It's one of the main reasons I switched to PaintdotNET.

As far as I know if I add too much layers while having a huge resolution size such as 4k that will delete most of my layers the next time I open. I can't resort to buying Photoshop each month sadly... Nice tip but I'm confused with the layout PaintNET has to offer.
Adobe offers an official download of an older version of Photoshop for free. It's technically for those who already purchased the software, but it doesn't stop anyone else from downloading.

Thanks for the link but If my files got corrupted within this free version of Photoshop there's nothing I can do.
Ugh, that's annoying. Hope everything gets sorted out for you soon though
I just refresh my pc not to long ago and some of my apps are deleted in the process.

Hope your troubles won't last for long. It sucks that a talent is blocked by lack of money constantly...

Dunno if that will be temporarily. My pc has some severe issues.
