Since BOFIV is split into two stories and you play a single character [Fou-Lu] in one of them, it wouldn't be unreasonable to consider a Breath of Undertale mockup. I might give it a go but I'm torn since half of the game's identity is in the sparse environments, and dressing it up to BOFIII/IV's level of detail and texturing would require a lot of expansion/invention-from-whole-cloth of what's already there.
