All this time consuming process is well worth it! I had a terrible experience with Gimp and Photoshop CS2 (free version) that removes the layers I made for awhile without warning prior to using Aseprite which is my go to app for pixel art.

Overall rest easy after pouring you heart and soul making this awesome pixel art! All those frustrations will be gone.

Had similar issues when I used to use Piskel with stuff just disappearing or some pixels just flashing different colors. Made me take the plunge to Aseprite a while ago.

These anims apparently left quite the impression on the kids at the event so that definitely made all these frustrations worth it.
